- Pain Assessment: You will be asked to describe your pain, including its location, intensity, and duration.
- Physical Examination
- Range of Motion: The doctor will assess your range of motion in various parts of your body
- Palpation: The doctor will feel for areas of tenderness or muscle tension.
- Posture Analysis: Your posture will be evaluated to identify any imbalances.
- Diagnosis & Treatment Plan
- Diagnosis: Your chiropractor will explain your diagnosis & recommend a personalized treatment plan.
- Treatment Plan: Your treatment plan will be created based on your needs and can be adjusted to adapt to your particular life needs and work schedules.
- Treatment
- Your treatment will include a combination of the following depending on your particular problems. Please note that not all insurances cover all the different treatment options but most will cover at least some of them
- Chiropractic adjustments to the spine.
- Electric muscle stimulation & heat therapy to relax the muscles.
- Intersegmental Traction to stretch restricted joints.
- Myofascial Release to release trigger points in the muscles
- Excercises and Stretching to increase flexibility, increased mobility, and help prevent future injuries.
